Terms and conditions

General

These terms and conditions, as well as any other written document given to clients before or after their reservation, govern the agreement between the clients and Celtique destination. Clients are kindly asked to read them carefully.

 

Celtique destination accepts its reservations based on good faith, and the clients agree that there are no known reasons which may make it unwise or dangerous to embark on its tours.

 

Celtique destination provide a private tour service which is exclusive to your group. No other individuals will be added to a group without the express consent of its participants.

 

Itineraries may need to be changed due to weather or other circumstances that are beyond Celtique destination’s control. Clients will be informed of any such changes as soon as possible.

 

Unless otherwise expressly stated in the tour description, the cost of accommodation is not included in our tour prices. However, we can arrange accommodation on your behalf. Please ask us about this at the time of your reservation. By reserving accommodation through us, the client enters into a direct contractual relationship with the relevant third party provider, and Celtique destination act solely as intermediary, transmitting details of the clients’ reservation to the relevant accommodations. Unless otherwise advised, payment for the accommodation reserved on a client’s behalf should be made directly by the client to the relevant provider.


Liability

Celtique destination works with third party companies to offer their clients the best of tours. Those third parties include – without being restricted to – accommodation provider and ferries.

Celtique destination is not liable for any service disruption, omission or other breach of service unless it resulted in an error from an employee of Celtique destination. 

The clients have the responsibility to:

  • dress appropriately (including safe footwear) to the sites they will visit,
  • advise Celtique destination of any medical condition that could disrupt their tour,
  • have in their possession any medication they may require during the tour’s duration,
  • obey all of the visited sites’ rules at all times,


Payments

All of Celtique destination prices are in pounds sterling (GBP).

Single day tours payments are required in full upon reservation to secure the tour.

Multi day tours require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon reservation to secure the tour.

Any payment balance must be made at least six weeks prior to any tour departure.

We accept bank transfer, bankers draft and credit cards.


Booking procedures

Reservations can be made via our website at www.celtiquedestination.com, via email at info@celtiquedestination.com or by telephone.

Your reservation will be finalized once we issue your reservation’s confirmation.

 

Cancellation by clients – single day tours

Single day tours’ payments are required in full upon reservation to secure the tour.

In the event of clients wishing to cancel their confirmed reservation, they should contact Celtique destination by email immediately. The following cancellation fees shall apply:

A) Cancellation more than 7 days before the tour departure: 25% of the tour price.

B) Cancellation less than 7 days before the tour departure: 100% of the tour price.

C) In the event of a “no show”: 100% of the tour price.

 

 

Cancellation by clients – multi-days tours

Mutli-days tours require a 25% non-refundable deposit upon reservation to secure a multi-day tour date. The remaining balance is due six weeks prior to your multi-day tour departure date.   

In the event of clients wishing to cancel their confirmed reservation, they should contact Celtique destination by email immediately. The following cancellation fees shall apply:

A) Cancellation four to six weeks or more before the tour departure: 25% of the tour price.

B) Cancellation less than four weeks before the tour departure: 100% of the tour price.

C) In the event of a “no show”: 100% of the tour price.


Cancellation by Celtique destination

Celtique destination will only cancel tours due to extraordinary circumstance out of its control, or when its clients’ safety might be at risk. In such unlikely events, Celtique destination will not apply cancellation fees and will refund all sums already paid.


Cancellation of ferries

In the unlikely event of a ferry company cancelling one of its departure, the ferry company will arrange sailing on an alternative ferry. If overnight accommodation is therefore required, this is not covered by the ferry companies or by Celtique destination.

 

Insurance

All clients of Celtique Destination are highly advised to take travel insurance with an established insurer, which will cover them against personal injury, medical expenses as well as loss, theft or damage of luggage and contents. All clients are responsible for their luggage.

 

Smoking

Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in our vehicles.


Complaints

Clients who wish to lodge a complaint regarding accommodation should do so directly with the service provider in the first instance and on site, or bring it to the attention of the tour guide. Clients who wish to lodge a complaint regarding accommodation after the tour should write to Celtique destination within 28 days of the end of their tour.
